Used-PCs.com Corporation (Seller) offers a 180-day warranty on all merchandise sold. The warranty period commences on the day the product is received and lasts for 180 calendar days.
The warranty covers all defects in materials and workmanship. In no way will seller be liable for loss of data or income due to failure of merchandise. Warranty does not cover abuse or neglect by customer. Seller will repair or replace the defective merchandise at our discretion. The buyer is responsible to obtain a Return Authorization Number prior to sending the merchandise back for repair. The buyer is responsible to ship the merchandise back to Used-PCs.com Corporation at their expense and in the original pack material. Seller is not responsible for damage in return shipping due to improper and insignificant packaging.
The 180 day warranty
has two phases:
1) DOA: If the unit
arrives Dead On Arrival and we can not get it running via phone support
(DOA failures are usually something simple like a loose cable connection or
memory stick cause by vibration during shipping), Used-PCs.com will ship a
replacement unit and provide a return shipping label for the defective
2) Once the system
is up and running the main warranty gives you two options if case of a
A) Free parts
replacement - call and speak to our technical staff to determine your exact
problem. If a replacement part is necessary, Used-PCs.com will ship the part at
no cost, and include a return shipping label if the failed part is to be
returned. Customer will have to install the replacement
B) If the
customer wants Used-PCs.com to diagnose and repair the failed unit, they have to
pay to return the unit back our depot in Austin, Texas. Used-PCs.com will
repair or replace the unit and ship it back on our account.
